Symbiotic Film is currently developing SILENT THREAT: The Episodic Series for Television and Streaming Venues. Based on the web series of the same name, Silent Threat traces three diverse families of UFO abductees, we follow the efforts of a multinational corporation to recruit and train people with 'special' abilities in an effort to communicate with extraterrestrials.
Director Aldo Romero explains the concept behind the series. 'My vision of the show is that of a smart, character-driven science fiction thriller with a diverse voice. The combination of a strong story, diverse cast, and elements of action and drama can make Silent Threat a strong independent, yet commercial sci-fi thriller in episodic form.'
SILENT THREAT was chosen for the 2010 Latino Producers Academy as a feature project. The web series based on this project included award-winning episodes SILENT THREAT: Prelude, and SILENT THREAT: The Disappeared, featured at the 2013 Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival, the Big Mini DV film festival, and the 2014 Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival.
Cutting Edge: The Probe
The first 360 Virtual Reality film under Symbiotic Film has been featured at the Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival, The New York Science Fiction Film Festival, and Animation Nights New York and is currently working on expanding its marketing and just signed a distribution deal with Digital Domain.
Symbiotic is also in preproduction for future episodes of THE PROBE 360 VR web series.

ABOUT
Symbiotic Film is a New York-based Production Company that specializes in Post Production services that include Motion Graphics, Visual Effects, New Media, and Original Content Development. Some of the clients we have served have included Chase Sapphire, Yahoo, Cannon, Jet Blue, Indie Pix, and The Karma Network.
Aldo Romero, the executive Director of Symbiotic Films has worked in the production department on such productions as Carlito's Way, Godzilla, Die Hard with a Vengeance, The Professional, A Bronx Tale and The Siege as well as television shows like NYPD Blue, New York Undercover and Law and Order.
Original film projects include Simulator, which aired on the acclaimed PBS channel thirteen series Reel New York and Resurgence, Storage Unit #57 which screened as part of the 2007 Cannes Short Film Corner, and the animated short, The Secret Life of Coins. Symbiotic Film's first virtual reality film, The Probe, was selected 'Best of Fest' at the 2018 Animation Nights New York. Currently, Aldo Romero and Symbiotic films are developing SILENT THREAT: The Episodic Series for cable networks and streaming venues.
